Incalls vs Outcalls

Over the years, I’ve had experience of incalls and outcalls. To clarify, an incall is where a client visits the escort at her place and an outcall is where she travels to meet him (usually at home or in a hotel).

There are pros and cons to both. I was 22 when I first started working as an escort,  living with two girls in central London. There was no option of me bringing clients back to my place as neither of them knew that I was a sex worker (so outcalls only). A friend from a different social circle introduced me to it; she recommended me to her agency and I jumped straight in. The lure of the money was too much, and seeing all of her designer togs made me jealous. I was young, free and single with all the idealisms of Pretty Woman.

My first appointment was with a middle aged man in a middle of the road hotel. Although the agency got the booking for me, it was up to me to make my way to the hotel. All I had to do was call them when I got home – not safe at all. They had the client’s details, but if he had turned out to be a knife wielding maniac I would’ve had no security! It’s all too easy to give false details when it’s a cash in hand business – there was no chip & pin identity give aways back then.

Luckily for me he was quite a nice chap, and I came away feeling quite proud of myself. I was completely in control and had just made as much money in 45 minutes as my flatmate had slogging away in Tesco for the whole day.

These days, I think outcalls are a much safer option than incalls. Most escort agencies now provide private drivers who take you to the appointment, wait outside for the duration then take you back afterwards. It’s great to have some security right outside in case you need any help.

Incalls are very convenient if you live alone, but there are draw backs; first of all, your clients will know where you live and could end up stalking or hassling you. You don’t want a knock on the door when you have your parents over for dinner… You also have to keep the place immaculate and do a LOT of sheet washing! If you do decide to run your business from home independently, make sure you have a trusted friend who knows what you do, and let them know when you have an appointment.

If you’ve been an escort long enough to have accumulated some wealth, you could even have a separate flat to take incalls in. You could decorate it as a sexy boudoir and have a life time stash of condoms there! No need to hide anything from guests, and no risk of stalker clients! I’d have loved to do that, but just when I had the funds available, I met my husband and decided to take a step back from the business.

If you’re just starting out as an escort, outcalls are an easier option. You get to see some lush hotel rooms too :-)
