How to Wear Your Hair

You’ve probably already gathered that my blog is all about escorts and sex workers, so you may have also cottoned on that I’m not talking about the hair on your head in this post. Pubic hair is very important – you have to maintain it well if you want to be successful in the sex industry.

For men, it’s much easier; most choose to just trim their hair with scissors or clippers, keeping it short and neat. Trimming your hair back can actually make your member look bigger, so it’s an added bonus to keep on top of it! Also, if a woman is giving you a blow job, she doesn’t want to get pubes in her mouth. Some men choose to shave it off completely; those brave enough to have the ’sack & crack’ wax should be commended! I can imagine that’s very painful.

You also have to deal with the stubbly regrowth when shaving, and the possibility of shaving rash and ingrown hairs.

Another option is to wax. Popular styles are Brazilian and Hollywood, either leaving a ‘landing strip’ or removing all hair completely. This is one of the most painful options; some women are more sensitive than others. Avoid having a wax the week before your period (this is when it’s the most sensitive) and exfoliate gently to avoid ingrown hairs. The downside of this option is that you have to wait for it to grow long enough between appointments.

Electrolysis is a more long term option, but you’ll need several appointments for it to be effective and the cost can rack up. But think of all the money you could save in razor blades and waxing!

Know Your Lube

It’s very useful to have individual, small packets of lube. If you’re an escort who does outcalls, you probably don’t want to carry around a huge tube of it everywhere you go. It could be embarrassing if that fell out in a public place! Many manufacturers have come up with sachets that are small enough to fit in your wallet, and mini bottles no bigger than your lipstick. They’re much more discreet, and will be enough for one session.

I found that in a lot of the multi packs, you can get many different flavours and types of lubricant. From cherry to pina colada, and heating to tingling, you can experience different sensations from using these. My piece of advice to you is to test them out on a patch of your skin before diving in at the deep end! I learned this lesson the hard way.

Just because you’ve used one particular brand before, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be allergic to other ranges. For example, I had used ‘Durex Play’ for a long time and never had any problems. The Lure of Lingerie

This may sound a bit obvious, but never underestimate the importance of good lingerie. Most clients expect escorts to arrive wearing matching garments in an attractive fabric such as silk or lace. Many also favour stockings and suspenders, and a corset or a basque. For the full get up you should let your escort know beforehand so that she can prepare, but girls – don’t expect a great reaction if you turn up in greying granny pants.

My elder sister always told me that it’s vital to wear nice underwear at all times. Keeping Your Cool

In this hot weather, it isn’t always easy to keep your cool. Your make up can start to melt on your face, leaving you with panda eyes and a streaky forehead. Sleeves are to be avoided at all costs so that you don’t get dreaded sweat patches, and if you’re not careful you’ll end up with red, sunburned skin or strange tan lines. Here are a few things you can do to stay as ladylike as possible in the heat.

Invest in a few handbag sized products that are essential if you want to freshen up when it’s sweltering. For your face, get some blotting papers with a little powder on them. They’re great for people with naturally oily complexions, but work brilliantly in the heat too when you tend to go a bit shiny. You can also carry translucent powder to brush on without looking like you’ve been tangoed.

Although mini deodorants are great, deo wipes are even better. If you’ve been sweating, you don’t just want to cover up; these will wipe away any dampness and leave you feeling fresh. Avoid heavy or musky perfumes to cover up – this will only make it worse. Mini battery powered fans are good to keep you cool, so I’d recommend carrying one of those.

If you have a long journey to an appointment, you should have a shower to freshen up when you arrive. If that’s not possible, invest in some portable fem fresh products to make sure everything stays lovely!

Avoid wearing stockings in the heat – if necessary, put them on when you get to your appointment. Synthetic fabrics are the worst for making you sweat, you avoid these under your arms too. If possible, go for cotton underwear to let yourself breathe a bit.

This might sound like a lot to carry in your bag, but each thing is small and will make sure you’re fresh and gorgeous all day long!

Know Your Client

During my time working as an escort in London, I learned that there is not a specific ‘type’ of man who’s more likely to hire a call girl. Some are married, some can’t get a girlfriend. Some are bankers, some are rock singers. Some want a power trip, some just want someone to talk to; you really can’t stereotype. For this reason, it’s good to learn a little bit about the client you’re going to meet, and what kind of date it’s going to be.

There are a large proportion of men who aren’t overly concerned with what you wear to an appointment; they just want you to turn up to their hotel room with racy lingerie underneath. However, image is very important to others, especially if they’re hiring you for a specific occasion. It shouldn’t be down to the escort to do the research though; if a client has a dress code or specification, he should inform you at the time of booking and give you enough notice to prepare. For example, a day at the races may require a new hat, or a business conference might require a tailored suit.

So I’ve already spoken a bit about advertising and investing money in a good photographer, but if you’re new to escorting, you might not know how to go about your pictures. What kind of background is best? What poses should you pull? Good photographers will give you some direction, but it’s good to have an idea for yourself too.

How your body is angled and positioned is very suggestive to the client. Not only do you want to show off your best features, but you want them to see what kind of girl you are. Stockings and Suspenders

Bearing the Pain

I used to get told that a wax would hurt less every time. I tried it many times, but the heat ripping away from my most delicate areas never quite became bearable. I like to have a Brazilian – everything gone except a small strip. I used to just shave, but then you have the risk of shaving rash, and 2 days later it’s already stubbly again.

I earned a nice enough living as an escort, but not so lavish that I could afford laser hair removal treatment. What I wouldn’t give to be bald from the neck down! Life would be so much easier. But I’m not, and I have dark hair, so my legs and privates must be tended to.

Not long ago, I decided to give hair removal cream another try. I had done it a couple of years before, and remember not being overly impressed with the results. Because they need to be smooth.

10 minutes later, and I could tell you that the answer is NO! Come on Veet, draw me a diagram or something! It stung and burned, and even then it wasn’t left smooth. Kind of patchy and stubbly, having to be touched up the next day with a razor.

Is wax the only answer? Am I destined to live a life bearing the pain? Please let me know if any of you have tips for hair removal, I’m still searching…

Natural Remedies

Personal Hygiene

This is SO important for both men and women, especially if you’re involved in the sex industry! If you’re a man hiring an escort, you really must take a shower shortly before she/he arrives. Wash everything properly, brush your teeth and use deodorant. There really is nothing more unpleasant than bad smells when you’re trying to get in the mood, and you’ll probably enjoy the whole experience a lot more if your escort is enjoying herself. If you don’t smell good, your escort may bring it up and ask you to shower, which would be embarrassing and awkward for both of you. Avoid any of this and shower regardless, even if you don’t think you’re dirty! Better to be on the safe side.
